Striking Elhew Budd

Budd was an outstanding young wild bird dog who was hunted extensively on grouse, pheasants, and quail. He had literally hundreds of wild birds shot over his points. He was a medium-sized, easy handling, classy, intelligent, athletic dog with a strong pointing instinct, and who backed naturally. He hunted at close to medium range, appropriate to the cover.

Budd was sired by the noted producer, Elhew Phantom (McGoo x Bounty Blaze), out of Pinehill Elhew Kiwi (Damascus x Striking Kiwi).
