Striking Elhew Warchief

Chief is a powerful, 62-pound grandson of both Striking Elhew Mack and Elhew Chaparral, two celebrated producers of outstanding gentleman’s shooting dogs. Like his sire, Striking Elhew Bossman, Chief is a calm companion in the house, and an energetic, hard hunting, tireless partner in the field. He handles effortlessly, adjusts his range to the terrain, exhibits admirable character on game, and is a natural retriever. Chief is well proven on multiple species of wild birds, and resides in Mosinee, Wisconsin with Dan Schroeder and his family.

Chief is of predominantly Elhew Strike x Elhew Kiwi lineage, with an infusion of National Champion Elhew Snakefoot “blood” through his producing sons, Elhew Jefferson and Elhew Discovery. He is available at public stud for $1,500, or by private treaty. A current, negative brucellosis test is required.
