Striking Elhew Josephine

Jo is a well-made, fast, athletic, beautifully-gaited, 48-pound daughter of Striking Elhew Redemption and Striking Elhew Haley. She is an accomplished bird finder with a strong pointing instinct, and she backs and retrieves naturally.

Jo is of predominantly Elhew Strike x Elhew Kiwi genetics, which Bob Wehle noted produced his best companion gun dogs - and, particularly, his best ruffed grouse dogs. She is a double granddaughter of our prepotent foundation sire, Striking Elhew Mack, whose positive influence on her conformation, temperament, and performance characteristics is apparent.
